#Jeopardy is a trivia channel on Chatnet. You can
find a complete server list here. |
1.2 How do I connect to the Chatnet? |
You can connect to chatnet using an irc client like mIRC
or pIRCh. Chatnet also has a
java client that you can use from their web site. |
1.3 Who is Trebek? |
Trebek is the #Jeopardy trivia bot. |
1.4 How can I become and op? |
If Porkins wants you to be an op you will become one. The best
way of not becoming one is by asking. |
1.5 Where do I submit question for Trebek to
ask? |
You can submit question for Trebek to ask by using one of the
two options listed here. |
Section 2 - The Rules |
2.1 What are the rules of #Jeopardy? |
The rules are very very simple. And are as follows:
1. No using swear words to attack or harass others.
2. No advertising other channels.
3. Comic chat users must use text mode.
4. No cheating.
Follow these rules or be banned without warning. |
2.2 What will happen if I get caught using a
cheat script? |
Well you will be banned for however long we feel like banning
you. Don't think you can get away with cheating, you will get busted
sooner or later. |
2.3 I was banned, when can I come back in? |
If banned you can return when the person that bans you lifts the
ban or it expires. Messaging ops trying to get them to unban you
will only insure that you stay banned that much longer. |
2.4 How come Porkins can break the rules? |
He owns the channel, he kicks ass. Live with it. |
Section 3 - The Commands |
3.1 What is the !seen command? |
The !seen command will tell you when someone was in the channel
last. Just type !seen <nick> to use this. |
3.2 How can I tell how many wins someone has? |
You can tell how many wins someone has by typing the command !won
<nick>. This will give you their current months wins,
all time wins and longest rows. |
3.3 Is there a Top 10? |
Yes. The top 10 command is simply !top10. This will display
the top 10 scores for the current month. This command will not display
two people with the same number of wins, only the last person to
reach that number of win. |
3.4 How can I see who has the longest rows?

The rows command is !rows. This will display the longest winning
streaks for the current month. This command will not display two
different people with the same streak, only the last person to get
the streak total. |
